Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2024

Your privacy is important to us and we want to be open and transparent about how we handle your personal data. Below you will find our policy, where we explain as clearly as possible how your data is processed and protected, and what your rights are. This policy applies to the processing of personal data of both visitors and customers.

Who is responsible for your personal data?
The Dutch company CROYEZ, located at De Rijn 8, 5684 PJ in Best, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide to us. CROYEZ determines which data is processed, for what purpose and for how long. This is never done without valid reason and we never sell your personal data to third parties.

Sharing with third parties
Only individuals authorized by CROYEZ to secure and/or process personal data or perform IT maintenance have access to your data. CROYEZ may use processors for the purposes mentioned in this policy. With each processor, a processing agreement is signed to define technical and organizational security measures. CROYEZ does not share your data with any other third parties unless this is necessary to provide our services, legally required or in urgent situations where it is reasonably in your interest.

What is personal data and why do we use it?
Personal data refers to any information that can directly or indirectly be linked to you as a person. A name is not necessarily required. For example: Person X lives at a certain address, places orders using customer number ABC and lives in Utrecht. Even without a full name, this still counts as personal data. Other examples include: email address, phone number or cookie IDs.

We process this data for the following purposes:

  • Visiting our website

  • Using the webshop

  • Creating and managing accounts

  • Processing orders

  • Responding to questions and complaints

  • Optimising marketing efforts

  • Proper functioning of the webshop

  • Improving the website

Processing of personal data by third parties
We work with partners who help us deliver our services, such as parcel delivery. As long as these partners process data on behalf of CROYEZ, they act as data processors. We have signed data processing agreements with them to ensure the protection, confidentiality and your rights. Examples of partners and their services include:

  • Logistics and fulfillment, such as parcel delivery services

  • Marketing, for example Google Ads for relevant advertising

  • Analytics, such as Google Analytics for website usage

  • IT, such as Shopify for webshop management

  • Customer service for handling questions and complaints

We may change the number or shortcode used for sending messages. Older numbers may no longer work. We are not responsible for message delivery failures resulting from this.

Mobile providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You must provide a valid mobile number and re-subscribe if your number changes.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree that we are not liable for failed, delayed, misdirected or erroneous messages, or actions taken based on such messages.

We respect your privacy. See our full Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use your data.

Changes to this privacy policy
To keep this policy up to date, we may make changes from time to time. The most recent version is always available on our website. We are not obligated to notify you directly, so we recommend checking the policy occasionally. The last update will always be noted.
