Privacy Statement
Last updated: October 10, 2024
Your privacy is important to us, and we want to be open and transparent about what we do with your personal data. Below, you'll find our policy, which clearly explains how your data is processed and protected, and what your rights are. This policy applies to the processing of personal data of both visitors and customers.
Who is responsible for your personal data?
The Dutch company CROYEZ, located at De Rijn 8, 5684 PJ in Best, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide to us. CROYEZ determines which data is processed, for what purpose, and for how long. This never happens without a valid reason, and we never sell your personal data to third parties.
Sharing with third parties
Only individuals authorized by CROYEZ to secure and/or process personal data or perform IT maintenance have access to your data. CROYEZ may engage processors for the purposes stated in this policy. A processing agreement is concluded with each processor, outlining technical and organizational security measures. CROYEZ does not share your data with other third parties unless this is necessary for our services, legally required, or in emergencies if this is reasonably in your interest.
What is personal data and why do we use it?
Personal data is any information that can be directly or indirectly traced back to you as an individual. A name is not strictly necessary. For example: Person X lives at a specific address, places orders under customer number ABC, and lives in Utrecht. Even without a full name, this is personal data. Other data could include: email address, telephone number, or cookie IDs.
We process this data for the following purposes:

-
Use of the webshop

Processing of personal data by third parties
We collaborate with partners who help us provide our services, such as parcel delivery. As long as these partners process personal data on behalf of CROYEZ, they act as data processors. We have data processing agreements with them to ensure security, confidentiality, and your rights. Examples of partners and their services:
-

-

-
Analysis: such as Google Analytics for website usage
-
IT: for example Shopify for webshop management
-
Customer service: to handle questions and complaints

Right to correction
Is your information incorrect or incomplete? You have the right to have it corrected. If you have a CROYEZ account, you can change this yourself in your account settings.

-
If you object on the basis of a legitimate interest, processing will then be paused until this has been assessed.
